Insurance Portfolio Management
Protecting what you build against life emergenciesWealth creation is fragile without protection. We help you audit and purchase clean insurance portfolios:
Term Life Protection
Ensure your dependents have comprehensive cash coverage in the event of an untimely demise. Recommended coverage: 15-20x annual income.
Health Mediclaim & Super Top-up
Protect your investments from medical inflation. We distribute comprehensive policies that prevent billing out-of-pocket during hospitalization.
Critical Illness & Personal Accident cover
Gain lump sum payouts on diagnostic detection of severe illnesses or permanent disability, supporting rehabilitation cashflow.
Why Protection First?
A single critical illness event can wipe out multiple years of SIP savings. Securing health and term cover keeps your long-term compounding path uninterrupted during emergencies.
Protection comes first
A hospital bill or a loss of income can force you to redeem years of SIPs at the worst possible time. Adequate term and health cover lets your investments keep compounding when life goes wrong.
Term life insurance
A term plan is pure protection. It pays a lump sum to your family if you die during the policy term, and nothing if you outlive it, which keeps premiums low. A common rule of thumb is cover of 15 to 20 times your annual income, plus outstanding loans, minus existing assets. Choose a term that lasts at least until your planned retirement. Disclose your health and habits honestly, because non-disclosure is a leading cause of rejected claims.
Health insurance
- Base policy. You can choose individual or family-floater cover. Check room-rent limits, co-payments and sub-limits, not just the sum insured.
- Super top-up. This is a low-cost way to add large cover. It pays once your total claims in a year cross a deductible.
- Waiting periods. Pre-existing conditions and some treatments are covered only after a waiting period, so buying early matters.
- Network hospitals. Cashless treatment is available at the insurer's network hospitals, and it helps to have one near you.
Riders and add-ons
Critical illness cover pays a lump sum when a listed illness is diagnosed, regardless of hospital bills. Personal accident cover pays for accidental death or disability. Both can support your family's cash flow during a long recovery.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much term life cover do I need?
A common starting point is 15 to 20 times your annual income. Add outstanding loans and major future goals, then subtract investments you already have. We work through the numbers with you.
What is the difference between a base health policy and a super top-up?
A base policy pays eligible hospital bills from the first rupee, up to the sum insured. A super top-up pays only after your total claims in a policy year cross a chosen deductible, which is why it costs much less for large cover.
Can I switch my health insurance to another insurer?
Yes. Health insurance portability lets you move to another insurer at renewal while keeping credit for the waiting periods you have already served, subject to the new insurer's underwriting.
Are insurance premiums tax-deductible?
Under the old tax regime, health insurance premiums are deductible within age-based limits, and life insurance premiums count towards the general deduction limit. The new tax regime does not allow these deductions.
Should I buy insurance and investment together in one policy?
Combined products such as endowment, money-back plans and ULIPs mix cover with savings, and usually give less cover per rupee of premium. Many planners prefer to keep pure term cover separate from investments so each can be judged on its own. We explain the trade-offs of any policy you are considering.
